Ritika & Prerna are two sisters who started the label with the idea of creating beautiful pieces that represent both their passion for interesting silhouettes with a modern take on hand embroidery. The label got its name to honour the memory of their beloved grandmother, who was an epitome of grit, determination, and extremely modern thinking.

Ritika finished her fashion degree from NIFT and always knew this was on her vision board. Prerna, on the other hand, did her graduate course in a completely different field, but after working with some well-known designers and stylists, she found her calling with URMIL.
